Default Utah State vs. BYU

It is a real shame that Coach Rose can't just agree to play in Logan, he is destroying all that has been done before him and it would also give BYU good NCAA experience playing in Logan

It is because BYU can't seem to win in Logan and Rose doesn't want to chance having a loss on their record.

I'd like to know if Coach Rose is really involved in this. It seems that Holmoe (AD) controls the schedule. It's a sad day for BYU and their program. What ever happened to be honest in ALL your dealings???????????

Default Lack of Dequorum Is the Reason

In my opinion, the reason for BYU's desire to move the game to SLC is because Utah State fans behave like they are on a bad crystal meth trip--they can't control themselves, or they don't want to be in control--it's beyond extreme. They like to verbally excoriate the Cougars. It's like Cindy Sheehan's psychopathic, hateful tirades against Pres. Bush--even if a president is bad, the commander-in-chief still deserves some respect... so does an opponent. There is a level of disorder in the Spectrum that borders on chaos/rioting/anarchy. How could a referee not be a little affected by that?

In contrast, a few years ago when BYU played football at Notre Dame, the ND Marching Band even learned and played the BYU team song. Why?... because it was the classy and respectful thing to do--the sign of a class program. That would never happen at Utah State.

Am I wrong?

"class" i remember a byu fan jumping on the football field a few years ago against the Utes to assault a cheerleader. hmmmm. if byu is so classy why do they have to send out a pamphlet every season with season tickets on how to act appropriately? need to be reminded by your shepherd how to act. doesn't come naturally does it sheep? Relax, the Aggies are a little frustrated from football. give em a break.

You think you're frustrated now? Wait til Riley Nelson comes home from his mission in 2009 and manages to play for BYU. What will you spew then??

People are breaking down the gates just to become a sheep, eh?

lol, blewNtheFace, the rising tide of the wac will bring up all. like i said before, once byu needs speed then you'll see mendenhalls true colors when it comes to recruiting. QBs transfer all the time, remember ben olsen? if riley does, He'll transfer to BSU not byu. BAAAAAAAAAAAA i would'nt consider 3rd world countries "beating down the gates" impressive. anyway should'nt you be making your "go mitt" signs for the barn? GO RUDY

game at the Delta Center is a great atmosphere. But every game in Logan is great basketball atmosphere, the fans are into the game, the place is pack
Am I wrong?
Sorry, I have gotta say that the Spectrum is the best place to see a basketball game that I have ever been to. I love Jazz games, and when they were in the Finals, and even any playoff games the atmosphere is electric. But the Spectrum during the regular season is unmatched as far as basketball intensity is concerned. The arena is packed and the fans are up on their feet, vocal, loud and wild. Who wouldn't enjoy going to a basketball game like that? Don't you hate going to games where the stadium is silent and you are shushed by other fans around you and told to sit down? Personally I don't go to a sporting event with the mindset of treating it like I was going to the opera or something.

Teams are truly intimidated when they come to Logan, which is why BYU doesn't want to show for another 3 years, an absolute shame for fans of both teams. Even the visiting team usually likes to come to a great basketball environment like Logan, and if they happen to be one of the 10 teams in the last 10 years to get a win, even better. But good luck pulling that off in the "House that Stew Built."

I just checked the scoreboard... Guess what? It belongs to BYU. Who's scared again? Utah State Agricultural College? Yeah, the team that refuses to play a NEUTRAL game needs to quit crying and man up. Or not. BYU's fanbase could really care less; after all, what's 1 less Sunbelt/WAC team to a school with a national fanbase? Maybe if they were a good opponent- you know, one that could at least make the NIT. LOL.

Default f/u eldermars

why should they play a neutral site? so byu has a chance? that is why they have home games dufas. one home one away. does that seem so hard? don't be too proud.
